FROM THE NORTH – via the M6

🔼 Route Overview (M6 → Birmingham → A441 → King’s Norton)

  • Head south on the M6 toward Birmingham.
  • At M6 Junction 6, follow signs for A38(M) / Birmingham City Centre.
  • Continue onto the A38 Aston Expressway, then follow signs for A38 South toward Bristol / Selly Oak.
  • Stay on the A38 (Bristol Road) for several miles, passing through central and south Birmingham.
  • At Selly Oak, keep following the A38 until you reach the junction for the A441.
  • Turn left onto the A441 toward King’s Norton / Redditch.
  • Continue on the A441 until you reach Redhill Road.
  • Turn onto Redhill Road, B38 9EH and follow festival signage.

FROM THE SOUTH WEST – via the M5

🔽 Route Overview (M5 Northbound → Birmingham → A441 → King’s Norton)

  • Head north on the M5 toward Birmingham.
  • Continue to M5 Junction 4 and take the exit for A38 / Birmingham (South).
  • Follow the A38 (Bristol Road) northbound toward Birmingham.
  • Stay on the A38 for several miles, passing through Rubery and Selly Oak.
  • At the junction for the A441, turn right toward King’s Norton / Redditch.
  • Continue on the A441 until you reach Redhill Road.
  • Turn onto Redhill Road, B38 9EH, and follow festival signage.

FROM LONDON & SOUTH EAST – via the M40

🔽 Route Overview (M40 → M42 → A441 → King’s Norton)

  • Head northwest on the M40 toward Oxford and Birmingham.
  • At M40 Junction 3A, merge onto the M42 Westbound toward Redditch / Bromsgrove.
  • Continue on the M42 past Solihull and Shirley.
  • At M42 Junction 2, take the exit for the A441 toward Birmingham (South) / Redditch.
  • Follow the A441 northbound toward King’s Norton.
  • Continue straight on the A441 until you reach Redhill Road.
  • Turn onto Redhill Road, B38 9EH, and follow festival signage.

Long‑distance coach services run regularly into Birmingham, making it easy to reach the festival from anywhere in the UK.

By Bus

Walk to nearby stops on Digbeth High Street and catch:

  • Bus 45 or 47 toward Stirchley / Cotteridge / King’s Norton

Journey time: 25–35 minutes depending on traffic
Get off at The Green, King’s Norton, then follow signage along Redhill Road.

By Train

  • Walk or bus to Birmingham New Street (10–15 mins)
  • Take a train to King’s Norton Station (~15 mins)
  • Walk or taxi to the festival site

By Taxi / Ride‑share

  • 20–25 minutes from Digbeth

  • Uber, Bolt, and local taxis all operate in the area

Both are within easy walking distance of the festival entrance.

CAMPERVAN AND CARAVAN INFO

Campervans/live-in vehicles are allowed on site but need to be booked via the shop ticket page in advance whether or not electricity hook up is required. This comes with a small cost if it’s required and based on a first come first served with payment to be made via the online shop. The campervan price is not including the festival ticket price. If you do not need electric hook up you can bring campers and caravans at a very small £2 fee.

TOILET & SHOWER FACILITIES

The site itself is all outdoors. There will be a number of portaloos on site including disabled access toilets in the arena and camping areas. There will be a small number of showers on site for 2026. Hours of opening will be confirmed at a later date.

ALCOHOL

Alcohol is allowed in the campsite. Please note that only alcohol purchased on the premises can be drank inside the main bar, the marquees and on the main arena areas. Please DO NOT bring glass bottles with you to the campsite. Please also note this is a family friendly event but still a licensed site, therefore underage drinking is not permitted.

DRUGS POLICY

Breaking Bands Festival hosts a drug free family site. Anyone seen taking or selling drugs anywhere on the site may be asked to leave and their ticket invalidated. They will also not be entitled to a refund. We may also involve the police if we find people violating the law regarding drugs. Note that CCTV is in operation across the festival site.

CHILDREN

Adult supervision is required for under 14’s at all times. Parents/Guardians are responsible for the behavior & safety of their children. Please note that ALL children MUST wear ear protection inside the music venues for their own health and safety. Basic ear plugs will be provided free of charge for children but we recommend ear defenders for all. Any under 18s caught drinking could be asked to leave the site along with their family.

LOCAL COMMUNITY

The site for the festival has surrounding residents. We ask that while on site, you respect the neighbours of the surrounding village. Noise should be kept to a minimum after 12 midnight onsite, outside the venue and across the camping area. Please respect others on site.

BBQS & FIRES

No open fires or BBQ’s allowed on site AT ALL.

LINE-UP CHANGES

Tickets are available to purchase and based on the festival not the line-up. We will do everything in our power to keep the line-up of bands the same throughout but in the event a band cancels for any reason, Breaking Bands Festival will not be held responsible. We will do everything to replace the band like for like but you will not be entitled to a refund because of a line-up change.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Refunds will not be given for tickets purchased unless the festival is cancelled.
In the unlikely event of the festival being cancelled, all ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund or an offer to transfer ticket to another event. All refunds will be paid via bank transfer (or your ticket outlet) but can take up to 14 days.

FINAL TERMS

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and/or eject any persons from the site who fail to comply with the rules and/or any person causing a nuisance to others. Anti-Social or violent behaviour will not be tolerated.

The organisers will not accept liability for personal loss, injury or damage to property or vehicles sustained at the show. Items left in tents will be so at the owner’s risk

Purchasing a ticket means that you enter into a contract with Breaking Bands Festival and agree the above terms.

Camping & Site Info

Camping is included in the price for all weekend ticket holders.

Access to the camping site will be available from 12pm Thursday 27th May 2027.

All ticket holders must vacate the site by 12pm Monday 31st May 2027.
